 CNC Projects Page 2

I was unable to find the correct size router collet in town, so I ended up having to buy one that was too big and then make it smaller with my bench grinder.

This page documents how I did it.

On this page, I will show you the Gimbal that I made with my CNC.

There are several uses for a Gimbal, but this one may eventually evolve into a heliostat prototype that I'm working on.

Here is list of links which go to free CNC plans.

I decided to put them all here in one place to make them easier to find so that someone might benefit from them.

This is the checklist that I use to make sure I don't forget to do something important when using my CNC.

This list can save a great deal of aggravation and is especially useful to the CNC newbie because it is easy to lose track of this stuff when you're first getting started.

On this page, I'm going to show you the vacuum attachment that I made for my CNC.

This attachment is designed so that it redirects the air normally blown out from the bottom of the router out to the sides instead.

This page shows how I clamp down wood on my CNC.

It has worked well for me, so I thought that I would share.

I found a couple of pictures of my first CNC machine and decided that I would put them up and also talk about it a little.

Here is a simple plugin for Sketchup which will add a menu option for exporting a CamBam file.

It's a pretty straight forward process, but I will go ahead and give some instructions for it anyway.

Here is an assortment of tips for designing parts in Sketchup that will later be cut out with a CNC Machine.

These tips aren't in any particular order. I just put them up as I think of them.
