This CNC goes by the name FireBall V90 and can be purchased as a kit commercially. It looks like a pretty solid machine. The link goes though the process of building it and has lots of pictures, so you might find something useful here even if you have no intention of buying your own.

Here is a CNC machine which goes under the nickname “The Beast”. The whole thing is said to cost $200 dollars to make.

Here is a rather detailed CNC build consisting of several pages of information which cover the process of building it. It is said that the design is based on plans available from a guy named David Steele. www.solsylva.com is the link for the plans I believe.

Here is a nice looking CNC machine with a 24″x48″ cutting area, so it’s bigger than it looks in the picture. The build itself looks like it’s very well documented.

Here is a rather clever CNC design which can be folded up for storage. There isn’t a lot of info on the build, but there are a lot of pictures.

This CNC build is also built by someone using plans available from www.solsylva.com. The machine itself is used for, among other things I’m sure, making guitar parts. As you can see from the picture below, it’s a very nice looking CNC machine.
