Conditions of Use
By using the Cerebral Meltdown Store, www.cerebralmeltdown.com/shop, you agree to the following conditions of use. If you do not agree to these conditions, then you should not use this store.
A full refund can be issued if the order is cancelled before the shipping process begins. (Send an email to request cancellation.)
Returns can be made within 2 weeks of receipt, but only if the product has not been used and is still in new condition with anti-static bag (if applicable). The purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to the Cerebral Meltdown Store. Send an email to Gabriel Miller at email@example.com to request return authorization before shipping.
Because it is impossible to determine the skill level of every individual who purchases the items on this site, a warranty is not offered for the products at the Cerebral Meltdown Store. Put simply, even experienced individuals might wire something together incorrectly and permanently damage the product, possibly without even realizing it. We do try to be reasonable though, so, if you think that it is the product that is at fault, we may still be able to work something out. Just send an email to Gabriel Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are concerned you have a faulty product.
Because the Cerebral Meltdown Store is currently quite small, product availability cannot be guaranteed. Every effort will be made to keep everything in stock, but it is to be expected that popular items will be sold out from time to time.
Your safety is your own responsibility. It is up to you to determine whether you have adequate skill and experience to complete these projects safely and to use the appropriate equipment and safety gear. These projects are not intended for use by children. Cerebral Meltdown disclaims all responsibility for any resulting damage, injury, or expense. Use of the documentation, kits, projects and suggestions on Cerebral Meltdown is entirely at your own risk. Also, it is your responsibility to make sure that your activities do not violate any laws, rules, or regulations in your area.
Shipped orders are sent USPS Priority Mail. Shipping and Handling fees are automatically calculated during the shopping cart process. Orders will usually be shipped within 1-3 business days, but unforeseen circumstances may cause delays (bad weather for example). An email with a tracking number will be sent to notify you when your order has been shipped.
Note: USPS tracking isn't always completely accurate and up to date, especially for international orders when packages are passed on to local carriers.
We acknowledge that some individuals would like more shipping options, but both the small scale and physical location of the Cerebral Meltdown Store makes it impractical to offer more (for now at least).
By purchasing from this store, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for delays or damage by USPS shipping due to weather or other uncontrollable events in transit once in the custody of USPS.
For international orders outside of the U.S., the purchaser is responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, brokerage charges, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. The Cerebral Meltdown Store cannot issue a refund in the event you are unable to pay your country's importing fees to receive your product.
We will not falsify customs forms. The customs forms will accurately describe the contents and cost of your order. We will not mark orders as "gift", "sample", "educational" or lower the values.
Because we have no control over their content, links leaving either the Cerebral Meltdown Store or Website are to be visited entirely at your own risk.
Accuracy of Information
Every effort is made to clearly document the use of the products listed at this store, but due to the fact that they are constantly being developed and improved, it is sometimes hard to keep everything up to date. Therefore, we do not guaruntee that all of the information on this site is accurate or even complete.
Please visit The Cerebral Forum or product's documentation pages first for support. It's generally the fastest way to get your information.
You can also send an email to Gabriel Miller at email@example.com. (I do generally prefer that everyone uses the forum so that I don't have to answer the same question over and over. Don't be shy or embarrassed about your question, everyone on the forum is quite friendly!)
Please do note that there is only one of me, so a response may not come immediately.
Also please note that only projects that are fairly similar to the ones that have already been documented are officially supported. For example, sure you could probably adapt the Sun Harvester Shield to control a 200 Gigawatt "solar death ray" for drilling down to the center of the earth, but that's not something I've ever done, so I can't give you much advice on how to do it.
Currently, the only payment option is to use PayPal.
Revisions of Conditions of Use
The Conditions of Use for The Cerebral Meltdown Store may be modified at our own discretion. This page should be visited from time to time if you wish to keep up to date.
Your information is collected for the sole purpose of shipping purchased items and contacting you should an issue arise with your order. We will never sell or give any of your information to any third-party or send you unsolicited advertisements.
