The Sun Harvester Driver Board is able to power one pair of stepper motors which, in turn, provide motion to your solar machine's altitude and azimuth motion. Each driver board is able to power one machine, so you will
need one of these boards for each machine in your array.
When used in conjunction with the Breakout boards, multiple driver boards can be added
quickly and without extra soldering. Simply plug in an Ethernet cable and make the M+ and GND connections from the breakout board to the driver board.
If only controlling a single machine, you also have the option of connecting the driver board to the Sun Harvester Shield using the Sun Harvester Shield to Breakout Board Adapter.
Board Description and Features:
*Labeling customized specifically for sun tracking and heliostat control.
*Ethernet connector and screw terminals for making quick, solderless connections.
*Dual stepper motor control, one for altitude motion and the other azimuth motion.
*Limit switch input.
*Driver board is set to 1/8 stepping.
*Based around the Allegro A4988 IC Motor Driver.
*1A/Phase Max (That's a bit conservative. The chip can technically supply a bit over 2A/Phase, but you would need a heat sink and fan.
*Driver board turns motors on when enable is set to HIGH. (This is different than most driver boards which typically enable the motors when enable is set to LOW.)

Assembling the Arduino Sun Harvester Electronics System
The Sun Harvester Driver Board is based on the popular Big Easy Driver designed by Brian Schmalz, so much credit should be given to him. Note that there have been some
significant changes to his original design, so, to prevent confusion, I don't recommend following 100% of the Big Easy Driver's documentation when using the Sun Harvester Driver Board, but I do recommend that you do at least read it.
