The Sun Harvester Shield Breakout Board adds Ethernet connections and power supply outputs to the shield which are used for attaching the Sun Harvester Driver Boards. This way you can easily add multiple machines without having to do a lot of extra wiring.
Breakout board comes with jumper cable (pictured at bottom of page) for either connecting to the Sun Harvester Shield or connecting to another breakout board.
How Many Breakout Boards do you Need?
If you want to control up to 4 machines, you will need 1 breakout board.
If you want to control up to 8 machines, you will need 2 breakout boards.
If you want to control up to 12 machines, you will need 3 breakout boards.
If you want to control up to 16 machines, you will need 4 breakout boards.
If you only want to control 1 machine and don't plan on adding more in the future, then you don't really need this breakout board and can instead just connect the Sun Harvester Driver Board directly to the Sun Harvester Shield.
